Volunteering

 

Volunteering is a wonderful way to give to your community. It can also give you valuable experience that many employers seek.  Volunteering with OSC is a great way to get involved in the community on and off Fort Polk.  Whether you give ten hours a week or two hours a month; your commitment is valuable.  You can become an ongoing volunteer with OSC, by helping with our Newsletter, the OSC Art Program, or you can commit to a specific event.  Events to look forward to are the Super Sign-Up, Holiday Affair and Casino Night.  We have an amazing art program that has expanded to include second, third and fourth grades at South Polk Elementary School.  You do not have to be on the Executive Board or a Standing Committee to volunteer for OSC.  Contact the OSC Volunteer Coordinator (information listed below) for more information on volunteer opportunities.
