"A community without artists is not a true community, only people living in the same vicinity." ~ Byrne Piven

FIRST SESSION :

3rd Grade:

The first session, All grades will start with "the Dot" which should get them back into the art frame of mind. The students will have class each Friday(1:30pm-2:45pm)

We will need several OSC volunteers for this session.  If you have an hour or two to spare each week, then this volunteer job is just right for you! Times are from 1-4 at the Creole Corners. Each job is very important to the success of this program, and we would love to have you be a part of this amazing program that benefits our military children in every way possible. All jobs, including prep-work (at home prep), set-up (one hour on Thursday before classes), and classroom teaching (each Friday) are needed!!!

Thank you to all the volunteers that did prep-work, set-up, and classroom help!  Without your help, this program would not have run the way it did!

A big thank you to those of you that have stepped up to help out already for this session!  I appreciate all of the prep people, set-up people, and classroom volunteers giving their valuable time for this program.

We are hoping to do another art show at the end of the lessons and I'm hoping that each child will display their favorite work (one per student).
